Sound Geometries: The Stone with Gerry Hemingway on August 1, 2015

This was part of a six day residency for Gerry Hemingway at the Stone. Our work was an opportunity to continue exploring the relationship of sound and image in a live setting. THE VISITING TANK

‘The Visiting Tank’ was composed by Gerry Hemingway in 1999. As a response to the war in the former Yugoslavia from the perspective of the children who survived it.

NOWNET ARTS: Interlocken Flow (exerpt)

Zoom Concert April 31st, 2023.
A virtual ensemble utilizing network arts led by composer Sarah Weaver. This section is an improvisation with the musicians from top to bottom: Ximena Alarcon (voice in Bath, England, Gloria Damijan (toy pianos, percussion, objects) in Vienna and Jane Wang (multi-instrumentalist) in Boston. My visuals (NYC) are performed live.

RHYTHM STUDY

A study with a focus on rhythm and sound/image relationships. Gerry Hemingway shot and recorded the sound and I created multiple visual tracks live using MaxJitter.
