NowNet Arts: Interloculation Flow (excerpt)

Zoom Concert April 31st, 2023.
A virtual ensemble utilizing network arts technology including JackTrip audio, VDO.Ninja, and PGJTT audio/video mixers led by Sarah Weaver, conductor with the support of audiovisual engineer Mike O’Conner. This section is an improvisation with the musicians from top to bottom: Ximena Alarcon (voice in Bath, England, Gloria Damijan (toy pianos, percussion, objects) in Vienna and Jane Wang (multi-instrumentalist) in Boston. My visuals (NYC) are performed live with some attributes manipulated by sound using MaxJitter.

‘The Visiting Tank’ was composed by Gerry Hemingway in 1999. As a response to the war in the former Yugoslavia from the perspective of the children who survived it.

Calling You with the composer Gerry Hemingway was partially inspired by the Indian Love Song ‘When I’m calling you” by Slim Whitmans.
