I made this film based on a night of dancing March 1st, 2020, just before lockdown and created the final piece almost one year later. The emotion of the connection between dancers inspired me. I used abstract qualities of color and composition to reveal this emotion. This piece represents an on-going collaboration with the dancer/musician/teacher Tomas Corbalan. His partner is Elia Vals, a professional dancer from Spain. This piece is part of an ongoing experiment between dancer and sound and image. The music is Near Light by ólafur Arnalds.
