Gerry plays a drum kit layered with a vignette of the tin pan alley song, “Indian Love Call” as performed by Slim Whitman from a deteriorated cassette recording. He manipulates the envelope of this material through a volume pedal.
Visual sources include 8mm movies shot by my father including Wisconsin woods and waters, a flock of Brooklyn pigeons, various processed textures including writing, Gerry’s performance at Roulette and found footage from the internet; Edward Muybridge’s running buffalo, documentary footage of buffalos running in the western plains, 16 mm family movies of a family from Ohio.
